Jean-Yves DUPEUX


Jean-Yves DUPEUX qualified in 1976.

Previously an associate with the law firm of Robert BADINTER and Jean-Denis BREDIN, he founded his own practice with Thierry MASSIS and Didier SKORNICKI before joining LUSSAN in 1993.

LL.M from the University of Bordeaux, DES qualification in European Public Law from the University of Paris I, DES qualification in Corporate Law from Paris I, graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Bordeaux.



Numerous articles, commentaries and columns in press law in Dalloz, JCP and Légipresse journals.

  • President of the Association des avocats praticiens du droit de la presse.
  • Member of the International Association of Lawyers.
  • Founder and current president of the Commission du droit de la presse.
  • Elected to the Bar Association, where he sat between 1991 and 1993, chairing the Ethics Committee before becoming a member of the Paris Bar Ethics Committee, a position he held until 2006.
